Current consensus

The livability impact area is a comprehensive and holistic assessment of the CCAM system or service under study, synthesizing indicators from all the other impact areas to form a cohesive evaluation of their collective influence on the degree to which the area under study is suitable or good for living in.

Explanation

Liveability is the degree to which a place is suitable or good for living in. It is the sum of the factors that add up to a community’s quality of life - including the built and natural environments, economic prosperity, social stability and equity, educational opportunity, and cultural, entertainment and recreation possibilities.
