Use case is the abstract description of the interaction between a system, its user(s), and its environment in order to reach a particular goal.

Explanation

In an evaluation, there will be mutiple Use cases, that must be defined and precisley described by CCAM practioners - using the template-how to from Chapter 3 of the CEM.FAME Use Cases:

  • Motorways
  • Traffic Jam Chauffeur, SAE L3
  • Highway Chauffeur, SAE L3
  • Safe Auto-follow, SAE L4 (Platooning)
  • Hub-to-hub transport on selected supervised corridors
  • Urban traffic
  • Residential last mile transport of people and goods
  • Bus(-like) applications on pre-defined routes in mixed traffic
  • Taxi-like operations working on flexible routes in a defined road network
  • Urban Chauffeur, SAE L3
  • Rural roads Driverless shuttle services operating on pre-defined routes
  • First-mile-last-mile delivery services with very compact, low-speed automated vehicles
  • Rural Chauffeur, SAE L3.
